conversion of vacant town centre building to form new dwelling
The existing building no longer has a function as commercial premises, the client was looking for alternative uses for which the illustrated design was created to provide a three bedroom urban dwelling with first floor external terrace edged with hedging to provide privacy from neighbouring properties. .
The converted building make use of new rooflights and bay windows integrated into the existing structure to provide light and create views out from the new accomodation, even when surrounded by adjacent dwellings.
The design provides first floor accommodation with two en-suite double bedrooms, fully open plan living and dining space with integrated kitchen. A private external terrace is accessed directly from the new dwellings main living space.
